UPTET 2021-22 result and final answer key will be announced after the UP Assembly Elections Results 2022, as per the media reports. Earlier, the UPTET final answer key 2021 was set to release on February 23, 2022, and the UPTET result was scheduled to release on February 25, 2022. However, both the events were delayed amid the ongoing UP Assembly Elections 2022. The UPTET result 2021 will now be released after March 10, 2022, by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority (ERA).

The UPTET 2021 exam was held on January 23, 2022, in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2 in various exam centres of 75 districts across Uttar Pradesh amid COVID protocols. Around 18.22 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The provisional UPTET answer key 2021 was released on January 27, 2022, for Paper 1 and Paper 2. 

What is UPTET?

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state-level exam conducted once a year to enable candidates to gain eligibility for Primary (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) level teachers in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. The exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). UPTET exam is conducted in two shifts for two papers - Paper 1 and 2. UPTET Paper 1 is conducted for candidates who plan to become teachers of Classes 1-5. On the other hand, UPTET Paper 2 is for candidates who plan to become teachers of Classes 6-8. Candidates who wish to become teachers of Classes 1-8 need to appear in both papers.

UPTET Answer Key 2021-22

The UPTET answer key 2021 has been released on the official website. Initially, the preliminary answer key was released to invite objections from the candidates who find any answer incorrect. After analysing the objections, the final answer keys will be released. The UPTET final answer key 2021-22 was scheduled to release on February 23, 2022. However, the release has been delayed. Candidates can download the answer key by following the given steps:

UPTET Question Paper 2021-22

The UPTET question papers 2021-22 are available now for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Practising UPTET question papers makes candidates familiar with the exam structure along with the marking scheme. Candidates should undertake the practice of the UPTET previous years' question papers to know the important topics from which questions are asked in the exam, difficulty level of questions and their level of preparation. UPTET Result 2021-22

The UPTET result 2021-22 was scheduled to release on February 25, 2022. However, the result declaration has been delayed due to UP Assembly Elections 2022 and will be released after March 10, 2022, as per the media reports. The UPTET result will be announced based on the final answer key. The result will be declared soon on the official website of the exam and will contain scores obtained by candidates in the exam.

UPTET Exam Analysis 2021-22

The UPTET exam analysis 2022 is shared here for Paper 1 and 2 based on the students' reactions. As per the feedback shared by candidates who appeared for the exam, the overall difficulty level of the UPTET Paper 1 was easy to moderate and Paper 2 was moderate. Candidates found Paper 1 a bit easier in comparison to Paper 2. Candidates were able to attempt around 125 - 140 questions in Paper 1 and around 110-120 questions in Paper 2.

UPTET Notification 2021

The UPTET notification 2021 was released on the official website on October 4. The notification contains crucial details of the exam including the application process, eligibility criteria, important dates, exam pattern, syllabus and others. Candidates who qualify UPTET exam become eligible to apply for recruitment as Primary or Upper Primary level teachers in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. The qualifying candidates will receive their UPTET eligibility certificate after the declaration of the result. The UPTET eligibility certificate is now valid for a lifetime as the NCTE has extended the validity of the TET certificate.

The UPTET selection process 2021-22 involves various stages such as application process, admit card release, the conduct of exam and declaration of result. The process concludes with the issue of UPTET certificates. Candidates who obtain the qualifying marks are declared pass and issued the certificates.

The UPTET Application Form 2021 was available online from October 7 to 26, 2021. Candidates who fulfilled the UPTET eligibility criteria submitted their applications online in order to appear for the exam.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2021

Have a look at the basic UPTET eligibility criteria 2021 below in terms of age limit and educational qualification:

Age limit for Paper 1 & Paper 2

Candidates should have attained a minimum of 18 years of age in order to be eligible to apply for the UPTET exam. There is no upper age limit in the UPTET exam.

Educational Qualification for Paper 1 & Paper 2

The education qualification differs for Paper 1 and 2. Have a look at the detailed criteria below:

UPTET Paper 1 Educational Qualification (Primary Teacher)

Candidates need to fulfil any one of the eligibility conditions mentioned below in terms of educational qualification in order to appear for the UPTET Paper 1:

  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd).
  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduation with BEd (final year appearing or passed).

UPTET Paper 2 Educational Qualification (Upper Primary Teacher)

Candidates need to fulfil any one of the eligibility criteria given below in terms of educational qualification in order to appear for the UPTET Paper 2:

  • Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd.
  • Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and a one year BEd.
  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BElEd.
  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BA/ BScEd/ BAEd/ BScEd.

UPTET Syllabus 2021-22

UPTET syllabus 2021 is prescribed by the Exam Regulatory Authority on behalf of the UPBEB. The syllabus carries for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UPTET Paper 1 syllabus includes topics from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. On the other hand, the UPTET Paper 2 syllabus comprises questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Sciences.
