SBI Clerk notification 2022 will be released in April by SBI for recruitment to Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) post. The notification will be released on the official website in PDF form. SBI Clerk 2022 Application Process

SBI Clerk 2022 application form will be released online. The application fees are INR 750 for the General and OBC categories. However, SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS candidates are exempted from paying the application fees. Candidates can fill SBI Clerk application form as per the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website, sbi.co.in/web/careers/current-openings

Step 2: Select the 'Click Here for New Registration' tab  

Step 3: Fill in details such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc

Step 4: Registration number and password are generated

Step 5: Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature 

Step 6: Enter personal details, work experience, educational qualification, etc.

Step 7: Preview the application form and submit the details 

Step 8: Candidates need to pay the registration fees 

Step 9: Take a printout of the application form and e-receipt 

SBI Clerk 2022 Eligibility Criteria

SBI prescribes SBI Clerk eligibility criteria in terms of age, educational qualification and nationality. The eligiblity criteria is given below:

  • The age of candidates must be between 20 and 28 years
  • Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the government rules
  • The educational qualification required for the exam is graduation
  • Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate can also apply for the exam
  • Candidates who are in their final year/semester of graduation can apply provisionally. They need to produce proof of having passed the examination on or before the joining date

Release of Admit Card

SBI Clerk admit card is released online separately for prelims and mains exam. Candidates are required to download the admit card for different stages of recruitment from the official website. To download SBI Clerk admit card, candidates need to enter the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. 

Appearing in SBI Clerk Exam

This is the first stage of SBI Clerk selection process. The preliminary exam is an objective-type test for 100 marks. The duration of the test is one hour. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies are selected for the mains exam. The mains exam comprises four sections and the total marks of the test are 200. Candidates are required to score minimum percentage marks on aggregate, while five per cent relaxation is provided to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates. The merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are placed according to their aggregate marks in the list, in descending order, as per their respective states and categories.

SBI Clerk result is announced online on the official website. SBI Clerk result displays the qualifying status of the candidates. To qualify the exam, candidates need to secure the required category-wise and state-wise SBI Clerk cutoff marks

Test of Specified Opted Local Language

Candidates have to appear for the test of specified local language opted at the time of applying. Only candidates qualifying the mains exam are required to appear for the test. Candidates not found proficient in the opted local language are disqualified from the recruitment process. Candidates who have studied the specified local language in Class 10 and 12 are not required to appear in the local language test. In the case of others, the local language test is compulsory. 

Final Selection

This is subject to qualifying the opted local language test and document verification. The marks obtained in the preliminary exam are not considered for selection. The merit list is prepared based on the marks of the mains exam only.

SBI Clerk prelims and mains exams will be conducted at more than 150 cities. Candidates need to choose one SBI Clerk exam centres while filling the application form. SBI Clerk 2022 Exam Pattern

SBI Clerk exam pattern is divided into two phases: preliminary and mains exam. The prelims exam comprises three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The mains exam comprises four sections: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The mains exam carries a total of 200 marks.

The salary break-up of SBI Clerk is given below:

Pay Scale: The salary of SBI Clerk was revised. The pay scale is INR 17,900-1000/3-20,900-1230/3-24,590-1490/4-30,550-1730/7-42,600-3270/1-45,930-1990/1-47,920. The starting basic pay is INR 19,900 (INR 17,900 plus two increments to graduates). Earlier, the starting basic pay was INR 13,075 (INR 11,765 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). 

Emoluments: INR 29,000 per month inclusive of Dearness Allowance (DA) (in metro cities) other allowances and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate Junior Associates.

Benefits: Provident fund, new pension scheme, medical leave, etc.
