RRB NTPC 2021 CBT 2 exam dates will be announced soon by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). Along with the CBT 2 exam dates, the revised CBT 1 result is expected to be announced soon.  Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, has informed that the high power committee has received three lakh grievances. All those grievances have been analysed and RRBs will soon its decision.  The high power committee constituted to address the concerns by students, has submitted its report on March 4. The Ministry of Railways will soon announce its decision. The grievances submitted by students till February 16 has been taken into consideration. The Ministry of Railways will announce its decision in favour of students.
Earlier, RRB NTPC CBT 2 2021 exam was scheduled to be conducted from February 15 to 19. However, the exam was put on hold by the Railway Ministry. The result of RRB NTPC was published on January 14.

Railway Recruitment Board's Non-Technical Popular Categories or RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select candidates for Graduate and Undergraduate posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) in various zonal railways and production units of Indian Railways. RRB NTPC Exam: What is the role of NRA?

Going forward, the RRB NTPC Prelims will be conducted by NRA, set up with the approval of the Union Cabinet. A Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be conducted to appoint candidates for Group B and C posts. However, the stages for the further selection of candidates will be done by the RRBs.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Dates

RRB NTPC CBT 2 new exam dates will be announced soon by the Railway Recruitment Boards. The CBT 2 exam was put on hold after the students protested against the alleged irregularities in the result.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam date postponed 

In view of the student protests, Ministry of Railways has postponed RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam which was scheduled to be conducted from February 15 to 19.

RRB NTPC 2021 Vacancies Revised

Railway RRB NTPC exam vacancies have been revised. The number of vacancies for Ex-Servicemen were revised to 10 per cent out of the total vacancies. The vacancies for PwBD were reduced to zero for category no.3 in Level-5 posts such as Goods Guard, Senior Clerk Cum Typist and Senior Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk. The number of vacancies were increased from 35,208 to 35,281.  

RRB NTPC Kolkata Vacancies Increased

CEN NTPC Kolkata vacancies have been increased to 3,022. The number of vacancies have been increased after the Indian Railways have added posts in Kolkata Metro Railway.

RRB NTPC Exam Schedule

RRB NTPC notification was released in the year 2019. Initially, the CBT 1 exam was scheduled to be conducted between June and September 2019. However, it was not conducted by the RRBs as per the schedule due to the non-finalisation of the exam conducting agency. The table below highlights RRB NTPC dates related to the recruitment exam.

RRB NTPC Admit Card

RRB NTPC admit card 2021 for CBT 2 will be released online. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter the user ID and password. RRB NTPC CBT 2 admit card is released for the qualified candidates of the CBT 1 exam. Candidates appearing for CBT 2 at different levels and on different dates will have a different admit card for each level/date. Candidates will be scheduled for all their exams in the same city, but the exam centre may vary. Each candidate will have a common city intimation slip. Aadhaar linked biometric authentication of candidates will be done at the exam centre.

Along with the admit card, candidates need to bring anyone of the following photo identity proofs:

RRB NTPC Syllabus 

The standard of topics prescribed in the RRB NTPC syllabus is of Class 10, 12, and Graduation levels. RRB NTPC syllabus is the same for the first stage CBT and second stage CBT. However, the difficulty level varies for both stages.

Railway boards had released CEN NTPC 2021 notification on February 28, 2019. Through this recruitment process, a total of 35,281 vacancies will be filled for the post of Non-Technical Popular Categories. A total of 1,26,30,885 applications had been received for the exam.

Station Master and Traffic Assistant: The selection process of Station Master and Traffic Assistant includes two-stage CBTs, CBAT, document verification, and medical exam.

Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper: The selection for these posts includes two-stage CBTs, Typing Skill Test, document verification, and medical exam.

Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice: The selection for these posts include two-stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination.

RRB NTPC Cutoff 2021
