LSAT India 2022 - The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) conducted LSAT India January 2022 exam on January 15, 2022. The exam was conducted in online, remoted proctored mode. The LSAT India 2022 January session results have been declared on February 1, 2022. The results have been released in the form of scorecards that contain information like the score band, scaled score, and percentile. The link to download LSAT India January 2022 exam scorecards is given below. The LSAT India 2022 exam is conducted in two sessions this year - January and May sessions. 

Registrations for the May 2022 LSAT India exam are currently open and will close on April 25, 2022. The May session test will be held from May 9, 2022.

Steps to apply for LSAT India 2022 are as follows:

  1. Registration - Click on the application link. In the registration form that opens, enter your name, email id, mobile number, pin code, and academic details.
  2. Fill the form - In this step, you will have to enter your personal information, communication details, course preference (8 choices allowed), colleges where you want to apply, and exam centers. Note that a maximum of THREE centers can be selected in the order of priority.
  3. Upload document - Photograph and signature must be uploaded as per the prescribed specifications.
  4. Pay the application fee - The fee can be paid in online mode using credit or debit cards, or net banking.

For appearing in the law entrance exam, LSAC has not mentioned any specific eligibility criteria, however, candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria for UG and PG law courses offered at the accepting law colleges as under:

LSAT India Cutoff 2022

No consolidated LSAT India 2022 cutoff will be released by LSAC Global. However, all the LSAT India associated law colleges will release their specific cutoffs for candidates seeking admission in their law schools basis LSAT India result. The LSAT India cutoff released by specific law schools will be the last rank at which a candidate will be given admission.

Factors Affecting LSAT India Cutoff

The LSAT India cutoff would vary from one course to another and one college to another depending on various factors such as:

  • Number of applications received for admission
  • The difficulty level of the exam
  • Performance of candidates in the exam

LSAT India Couselling 2022

LSAC Global does not conduct any LSAT India counselling for the purpose of seat allotment in various colleges accepting exam scores. It also does not release any LSAT India merit list. The role of the Council is only limited to the conduct of the entrance exam and thereafter, declaring the LSAT India result. 

All candidates qualifying the LSAT India 2022 exam have to apply separately at the colleges accepting exam scores and follow their individual admission process.

Q. When will LSAT India 2022 be held?

A. LSAT India 2022 exam will be held in two sessions. The 1st session will be held on January 15, 2022. The second and final session will be held from May 9, 2022.

A. LSAT India 2022 application form can be filled in online mode on the official website; the application link can be accessed from this page. 

Q. How LSAT India is different from other law entrance exams such as CLAT and AILET?

A. LSAT India is a standardized test with a uniform pattern and single question paper for admissions to five-year integrated LLB courses, three-year LLB course, LLM course or PhD course in Law. Candidates can take the exam for admissions to more than 85 private law colleges in India. Whereas, CLAT and AILET have separate question papers for UG and PG courses. Based on CLAT scores, admissions are done at 22 NLUs and accepting colleges. Check the list of NLUs here. Through  AILET, only NLU Delhi and a few private law colleges in India offer admissions. Q. Has LSAC Global changed the exam pattern of LSAT India?

A. No, the exam pattern of LSAT India is the same as in previous years. However, the mode of examination has been changed to 'remotely-proctored online mode' from the Paper-based test. Initially, the pattern was revised with the inclusion of Variable section as well, overall exam duration was increased to 2 hours 55 minutes. 

Q. What is the Variable section of the LSAT India exam?

A. The variable section comprising 23 questions based on Analytical Reasoning or Logical Reasoning or Reading Comprehension was earlier added in the exam pattern of LSAT India 2021. However, later it was removed from the question paper.

Q. How to prepare for LSAT India? 

A. Candidates can prepare for LSAT India exam by referring to a preparation strategy as well as knowing the exam pattern, syllabus, and study material. Moreover, practicing mock tests by LSAC and previous years questions papers for LSAT India is the key to knowing exactly what to expect and how to attempt the examination. 

Q. What is LSAT India Super Prep?

A. LSAC provides Super Prep book for candidates appearing in LSAT India. The book is a combination of preparation material, test papers, explanations, answer key and other related information. Interested candidates can get the book either while filling up the application form or separately from the official website. 

Q. Is there a mock test facility available to prepare for the LSAT India exam? 

A. Yes, LSAC provides online mock test facility for candidates appearing in the examination so that they can develop a familiarity with the test features and prepare well.

A. The question paper of LSAT India is based on - Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning 1 & 2 and Reading Comprehension. 

Q. Is there any sectional time limit to attempt the LSAT India exam?

A. Yes, each section has a time limit of 35 minutes and candidates have to attempt the paper in the same duration.
