CTET 2021-22 result is likely to be released soon. The CBSE CTET result 2022 will be made available as a scorecard containing the marks obtained by candidates in the exam. The CTET results will be announced based on the final answer key and through the normalisation method. The final CTET answer key 2021 will be released along with the result. The provisional answer key was released by the board on February 1, 2022. Candidates can download the answer key using the login details such as roll number and date of birth.

The CTET December 2021 session exam was held online from December 16, 2021, to January 21, 2022. The CTET question paper 2021 has also been released by the CBSE. Candidates can download the CTET question paper 2021-22 of Paper 1 and Paper 2 for all the days and shifts. Candidates can also download the answers marked by them in the exam using the application number and date of birth or password.

What is CTET?

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CTET exam is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8. The exam is held in two sessions for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for candidates who want to teach Classes 1-5 and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to teach Classes 6-8. Candidates who wish to teach Classes 1-8 need to take both papers.

CTET Question Paper 2021-22

The CBSE has released the CTET question paper 2021 for the exam shifts. Candidates can download the question paper by following the given steps:

It is advisable that candidates should practice from the CTET previous years' question papers to know the types of questions asked in the exam, their difficulty level and the marking scheme. 

CTET Result 2021-22

The CTET result 2021 will be announced after the completion of the assessment process. Candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the exam are declared pass and awarded the CTET eligibility certificate. The validity of the CTET eligibility certificate has now been extended from seven years to a lifetime. Candidates who once qualify the CTET exam can now apply for teacher recruitment in the central schools till they fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the respective school authorities.

CTET Exam Analysis 2021-22

As per the feedback shared by candidates, the overall difficulty level of the CTET Paper 1 is easy to moderate and the Paper 2 is of moderate to difficult level. Candidates found the Child Development and Pedagogy section as the easiest among the other sections. Candidates were able to attempt around 100-120 questions easily.

CTET Application Process 2021

The CTET application 2021 was accepted by the CBSE from September 20 to October 25, 2021. The applications were invited online along with the application fee of INR 1,000 for one paper (INR 500 for SC/ ST/ PwD) and INR 1,200 for two papers (INR 500 for SC/ ST/ PwD).

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2021-22

Candidates who fulfil the CTET eligibility criteria 2021 can apply for the exam. Have a look at the basic CTET eligibility criteria below.

  • Candidates should be Class 12 pass with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate in order to be qualified for the CTET exam for primary teacher

  • Candidates should be graduated with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate or Class 12 with at least 50 per cent aggregate in order to be qualified for the CTET exam for elementary stage teacher

  • Candidates should have completed the prescribed teacher training programmes/teacher education courses

While submitting the application form, candidates are required to make four choices of the CTET exam centres 2021.

CTET Syllabus 2021-22

The CTET syllabus is prescribed by the CBSE. The syllabus includes topics from which questions are asked in the exam. The CTET Paper 1 syllabus includes topics from five sections:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy
  • Language-I
  • Language-II
  • Mathematics
  • Environmental Studies

On the other hand, CTET Paper 2 comprises topics from four sections:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy
  • Language-I
  • Language-II
  • Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Sciences

Though the Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I and Language-II sections are common in both papers, the nature and the standard of questions are different in both. Candidates should go through the syllabus in detail to be familiar with the important topics.

A: There is no negative marking in the CTET 2021 examination. Candidates are awarded one mark for every correct answer in the exam and there is no deduction for wrong answers or unattempted questions.

Q: What are the qualifying marks for CTET 2021 exam?

A: Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 60 per cent or above marks in the CTET 2021 exam in order to be considered as a CTET pass. The CTET passing marks for OBC/SC/ST category candidates are 55 per cent.

Q: How many attempts are there for CTET exam?

A: There is no limit on the number of attempts for the CTET exam. Candidates can appear for the CTET exam as many times as they want to improve their scores. 

Q: Is CTET valid for lifetime?

A: Until now, the CTET eligibility certificate was valid for a period of seven years starting from the date of declaration of result. However, now the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and CBSE as well has officially extended the CTET passing certificate validity to lifetime.  

Q: Will I get the job after clearing the CTET exam?

A: Qualifying CTET exam does not guarantee a job to a candidate. It is only one of the eligibility criteria for employment. Candidates need to appear for the recruitment process of schools such as KVS, NVS and others to get a teaching job.

Q: Will CBSE or CTET unit give me a job if I clear the exam?

A: No, the CBSE or CTET unit is an exam conducting body and does not offer employment to any candidate. It only awards the CTET certificates to candidates who qualify the exam.

Q: Can I apply for CTET again if I had already qualified the exam before?

A: Yes, you can apply for the CTET exam again after qualifying once. There is no restriction on the number of attempts for qualified/ non-qualified candidates.

Vikram university UG course admission application will be available from May last week onwards in official website and B.Ed is not compulsory to apply for CTET any graduation course with 50 percent for paper 2 and 12th with 50 percent marks for paper 1 you can give it. If you are Class 12 passed are eligible to apply for CTET Paper 1 and those who have completed graduation with minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks are eligible for Paper 2. Yes you can give paper 2 if you can't able to gave paper 1 as Paper I is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 ...If you are Class 12 passed are eligible to apply for CTET Paper 1 and those who have completed graduation with minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks are eligible for Paper 2. Yes you can give paper 2 if you can't able to gave paper 1 as Paper I is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 and Paper II is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. In case candidates wish to qualify to teach classes 1 to 8, they can appear for both the papers in CTET. If you wanted to ask that if you haven't scored CTET in first attempt than There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
